Another thought provoking piece Alexander - we have lost so much of ourselves in this world. We literally have to be in beautiful places such as you describe to wake us up to what is being destroyed inland. I’m currently, along with our villagers trying to stop 3,000 houses taking up more of our surrounding landscape which defines us as villagers. Soon to be a thing of the past, we too in this sense being eroded!
